On Monday 8th September the Enrichment Art Group embarked on an exciting trip. Our first stop was an art gallery where we got an insight into how artwork is displayed. We learnt the importance of white space and balanced displays.
We then drove out to a lady's house in Springfield. She is a friend of Mrs Peacock and has an amazing deck with a stunning view of the Torlesse Range. We sat on her deck in the sun and sketched this amazing view.

When then drove back to Springfield for a play in the doughnut playground, lunch and a visit to Mrs Peacock's gallery. We loved seeing her amazing paintings and left feeling very inspired.
We then drove down to the river and did some more sketching. We took heaps of photos, but it was getting really cold, so we piled back into the cars, drove back to school and downloaded our photos to our google drives.
We finalised our compositions and left at the end of the day super excited about what was coming next!
