Algebra baking
This week we looked at the relationship between wet and dry ingredients in a variety of recipes. We then had to convert between measuring by cups to measuring in grams so that we could find out how the ingredients all compared. We then used algebraic equations to work out the ratio of wet to dry ingredients.
Yesterday we found recipes, then altered them to meet the tastes of all people in our group. Then today, we baked... And ate!
